- I grew up on Penn State Football, so it's in my blood. My first Christmas Tree was a white one with navy blue bulbs. I remember the '82 Sugar Bowl, the interception by Pete Giftopoulos in the '86 Fiesta Bowl, Gary Brown stripping Ty Detmer in the '89 Holiday Bowl, and was in South Bend when Craig Fayak kicked the game winner to cap a 21 point comeback and knock off #1 Notre Dame. I love following all things Penn State football, from the season to recruiting to spring practice. And now writing this blog about the Nittany Lions about all the team I love.
