Eastern Illinois -- Nothing good can come from this game

This game reminds me of a quote from Caddyshack, "I tell ya, I should have stayed home and played with myself" Al Czervik (played by Rodney Dangergfield).

What does this have to with the game tomorrow?   We should have just scheduled another Blue/White game and played against each other.  There'd be more competition and the fans would still pay the $55 per ticket to show up.  This will be a win, but the real key sfor success tomorrow are:

1.  No injuries
2.  Kevin Newsome gets significant playing time with the first team offense to build his experience level.

This should be a chance for other younger players and back-ups to play, and for the starters to rest up for the rest of the Big Ten schedule.


Prediction:  We better win by 24+
